what do schools really care about?

Hey everybody,

I am applying to a direct entry bsn/msn this summer and I wanted to know when schools look into application what catches their eye first? is it the GRE scores, grades on pre reqs, or volunteer experience? I am very nervous bec am I applying this year and overall my application stands out but my gre scores are low and I would like to apply to upenn and a couple of other schools. Would these schools rule me out if i have a low GRE score but have an amazing application?
