I have been accepted into Millikin Universitys PACE program for my RN to BSN starting January 2012. I just interviewed and accepted my first RN position at a hospital in springfield IL in their ICU department. I will be working nights and I have such decided that it would be very nice to have an online program. I have done massive searches but I need a program that has my organic chem and general chem built into it. Anyone know of any such things? Or would it just be easier to stay at MU where I can obtain all of these things.
Background info for me as I am a new member here:
Lpn for approx 2.5 years, CNA. Worked in such areas as Psych, Med-Surg, Long term facilitys, Anesthesia(tech position), Primary care currently, Special needs pediatrics,(very rewarding), and Outpatient care. My first LPN job was with special needs children. Children with trachs, G-tubes, invasive lines. Then outpatient care, currently primary care. My goal in highschool was always anesthesia. After my first clinical in ICU this semester(I graduate Dec) I loved ICU so much, so I hope CRNA would be just as exciting and as challenging. I am a very hands on,technical, and anal about details kind of guy. Nice to meet all of you.
