Hello
I am thinking about making a career change into healthcare! I am strongly thinking about becoming a LPN, Does anyone know of any good schools in the Dallas area. I currently reside in the North Dallas area! Also how is the job outlook in the Dallas area?
Thanks for any info!

Hey there Compwhiz....I currently work in Dallas and I can tell you that it would behoove you to become an RN instead of an LVN. You will do EXACTLY the same job, but you will be paid about 7-10 dollars less per hour - and your differential for working nights and weekends will be less as well. But if you decide to do the LVN thing I wish you the best of luck!!!!

I understand that there is a difference in the pay! I just wanna get my foot in the door and make sure I am happy with what I am doing! I can always go back for another Year and become an RN if I wanted to!
