Hi, we are looking into moving to the Seattle area.
I am wondering if there are any community or technical colleges in the area that have on-site child care?

I can't speak for Seattle, but here in Spokane, Spokane Community College, and I believe, Spokane Falls Comunity College, both offer child care to the students. Spokane Community College has a ADN program, and an LPN porgram. If anyne is interested, Spokane Falls Community College has a Physical Therapy Assistant program. Which, happens to be, an Associates Degree Program. What does it say about nursing that we allow an Associates Degree as entry into practice for RNs, and allow a one year program for LPNs? Just food for thought.

I know that North Seattle Community College has on-site childcare. There may be a waitlist, though.
I don't have kids, but I can tell you (as a former student) NSCC is a great school. Check it out!

Um...I don't know what's it supposed to say to you? I don't see an issue personally.

Hi Sarah,
I was just wondering if you have started an RN program yet? I currently live in Los Angeles and am attending Santa Monica College's nursing program, but we may be relocating to Seattle because my husband has an offer from Microsoft. I am so upset because I waited 2 years to get into this program. I have heard that the Seattle area schools are difficult to get into. Where did you move there from? Do you like it?
Thanks!!
Aimee

Shoreline CC has a childcare program. I know it can also be hard to get into, but then again, so is nursing school around here.
