Schooling for nursing ?

When going to school to be a RN is it just a 2 year program or is there schooling an classes b4 so ?

    Most ADN-RN programs require pre requisite classes including but not limited to A&P, microbiology, statistics, english composition, intro to psychology, intro to sociology and developmental psychology.

    A few programs allow you to do pre reqs alongside nursing classes, but this isnt typical.

    Generally your pre reqs can be completed in 2 semesters allowing you to be through with your ADN in 3 years

    it is taking me 3 years because of pre-reqs. But I also had a bunch that transferred from my bachelors so that is atypical for my program
