Hey ya'll!
Quick question...I am a soon to be Army Veteran, and have a question about nursing school. Once you get accepted into a Nursing school, is school two full years? Or do you take breaks during the summer? I am using my Post 9/11 to go to school, the VA pays the school for my tuition, and pays me around $2,000 a month to go to school and finish my degree, but they won't pay me during the summer if there is no school during summer break.

It depends on the school and the program you're in. However, if there are no nursing classes over the summer, you can always just take extra classes and pick up a minor or finish your gen eds :)

Like the person above said, it depends on the school. For example, my school continues through the summer & even has summer start so just look up the school(s) you want to go to :)
Thank you both! I guess I will have to find a school that continues school during the summer. :)
