Trying to get some house and yard chores done, as well as making some make ahead meals to make things easier on my hubby. Plus all the reading thatb was assigned at orientation-9 tests in the first 9 days. BTW, I'm in a pt program in PA. T/W/Th 2-9:30pm for 18 mo.
Good idea on the make ahead meals! I start Monday so I'll have get started this weekend on that! I'll be going mon-thurs 6pm-10pm. I have 3 kids in elementary school and a husband that is not really domesticated! I spent today doing a lot of house work. Good luck!
I cannot agree with the OP enough! I take a few hours every Sunday to make meals ahead for the week for the household. I find soups are great for packed adult lunches so I make two batches of soup (this week featured Potato Leek & Roasted Corn with Ham), one large pasta dish, bake muffins and/or a quiche and I prep freezer meals for all of the dinners if I have time. I have DH bake bread every other night since people love toast around here.
Another breakfast tip is making Slow Cooker Oatmeal with Irish (aka Steel Cut) Oats - two cups of oats, eight cups of water, nuts, spices and dried fruit and it makes enough to nutritiously feed five easy -- and they can add a little dairy if they want in the morning. if you pre-measure all of the dry ingredients (one day vanilla almond, another banana chocolate chip, apple cinnamon etc) and set them aside you can make it someone's evening chore. HTH

Wow! Can you stop over my house, lol. So you have the oatmeal in the slow cooker over night? At what temp, and how long is it cooking for?
