In your experience, however lengthy or short, what do you think newly graduated nurses should have learned in their respective schools of nursing? What do you think they were taught, but didn't necessarily need as a newly licensed RN?
Kindly give the number of years you've been practicing nursing.
I thank you in advance for your feedback!

Pretty new guy here, my biggest negatives were the cultish like nursing experiences where Nursing is hallowed...
I am proud to be a nurse (Murse) .. but beyond the nightingale pledge, we all can think of better things to learn.
Pharm, Fluid and Electrolytes are a critical area IMO... but I just think you need to know what the heck your meds are doing to pts...
I learned about the history of nursing and maslows hierarchy (important but not critical like some things) while being demanded to complete 3 tests a week, check-offs, quizzes, and those questions are on the same level as what are symptoms of a heart attack.
