school nurse or psych nurse job?

I am lucky enough to have received two job offers! I am a few years out of nursing school with a school nurse background. I have no hospital experience and am potentially interested in a career in public health nursing. One offer is part time and is in a psych hospital (GeroPsych) and the other is full time and is a school nurse position. I'm thinking I would be a fool to turn down a hospital position because I know it becomes harder to gain that kind of experience the longer I am out of school. But I'd rather take the school nurse position, I think. And won't that benefit my career as a public health nurse too? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! I'm in need of some clarity :)
