Im having a really hard time deciding where to go to school i got accepted into the nursing program at Fresno State, East Bay, Chico, and the University of Arizona. Which school has the better nursing program? I live in California so UofA seems great but the out of state tuition doesn't.. If anyone can help me decide! I am barley graduating from high school this year as well if that matters!

Did you get accepted into just the college or the actual nursing program? Most programs require pre-reqs to be completed before applying (though there are some that don't).
Why are you just barely graduating high school? Is it because your grades over all 4 years are bad? Or were they not so hot before and you've recently pulled your grades up? Do you struggle with the content? If you're just barely graduating, I'm confused on how you've been accepted into a program. I don't mean that offensively, it's just an honest question as many programs require a relatively high gpa to be accepted (unless you have a high gpa and there's another reason for it? I think the reason behind it makes a difference).
If you've been accepted into the nursing programs and you're barely graduating high school, you may want to hold off on starting the program and taking other courses at one of the colleges first. It depends on why you're barely graduating, but I think the various reasons for barely graduating could make succeeding in the program very difficult.
If it's just the college in general, then I can't really help there other than looking into each school's program that you're hoping to apply to and see which one you may like best and even see if pre-reqs from the other schools would transfer if you decided to do pre-reqs at one place but start the program at another.
wow I feel so stupid now!! Now I am actually a senior in high school( not held back or anything) but I didn't know that being accepted into the major didn't necessarily mean you were accepted to the actual program. Well new question then.. I got accepted in these colleges for that major what would be a good option to pursue my career in nursing.
Don't feel stupid! You're not the only one to make that mistake. I'm 31 and I made that mistake regarding another school last year And I thought you meant by barely graduating as in you're about to graduate, but barely Sorry! I just read it differently than it was intended.
If I were you, look into the requirements of the program for each school. You'll want to know all of their requirements - which are the minimum requirements (if it's competitive, you'll likely need much higher than the minimum). You'll want to know cost and NCLEX pass rates. If pre-reqs are cheaper at one school, but a program at another school looks better, you may want to look into if credits will transfer.
Hopefully someone else can chime in about what you would want to look for in the different programs/schools as I'm sure I'm missing some valuable info. You may want to check out the pre-nursing section or maybe do a search for the schools you have listed to see if any search results come up with information about the prospective schools.

I would really recommend you stay in-state while you are working on your pre-requisites. Two years from now, when you are starting to actually apply for entrance into the nursing schools; then expand your area to out of state if needed. Personally, I wouldn't pay out of state period if you don't need to!! Loans will follow you around forever if you are not careful.
Thank you so much this was really helpful!!!

Just a heads up - you likely weren't accepted directly into the major. Telling the school that this is what you intend to do doesn't automatically make it happen. Much like graduating from nursing school doesn't automatically make you a nurse.
