schedule for Chandler-Gilbert students

Can someone tell me what your schedule is like at Chandler Gilbert? What days are you in class and for how many hours? Any other info you would like to include.

Hello, Im currently in block 2 at this school. So I can answer any of your questions you have. Well the schedule is monday through thursday, and it that way at any of the programs unless you do a part-time option somewhere. You do your clincals on mondays and tuesdays for block 1 and 2, but you may have to do friday and saturday clinicals and have mondays and tuesdays off. It just depends on what days the clinical instructers are availble for and what the hopsitals offer the school for time slots. And the clinicals may run from 700-330 or they may run from 1200-800 or they may be 200-1000. It just depends on the sites you get and what they get offered. And your in class for about 2 hours each day for nursing process on wensdays and thurdays, 50 minutes for pharm on wensdays which really isnt enough time, and 3 hours on one of the days for pharm lab either wensdays or thursdays. So you either get one really long day and one short day of class, or if you schedule your lab on thursday you get 2 mid long days. But I think its better to have one really long day and one easy short day. Your clincals are for 8 1/2 hours on both days you have clincals. And the teachers are awsome for block 1 and 2. I just wouldnt plain on working too much unless you want to do a lot of homework on your free days. But this is the way we have done things so far, and I know that when you get to block 3 and 4 your clinicals are on wed. and thusdays and your in class on mon. and tuesdays. But I know that there going to change the curriculum again at the maricopa community colleges so class times may change.

Great information! I really just needed a general idea of what to expect. I will be starting in the fall and was curious. I also heard that there are changes on the way, I wonder how it will affect schedules.

Also I am really curious about the instructors. What are they like? I have a few more questions but if you don't mind I would prefer to pm my questions? Is that ok?
