Hi, did not see a conversation yet for scf fall 2019 so I'm starting it. I have all 9 of my classes done. I currently have a 3.4 in my 4 pre-req classes and a 3.37 in all 9 classes. I applied for spring start at scf and didn't get in, because my GPA was not competitive and I didn't have all nine of my classes donte. I re-took another class got an A and finished all 9 of my classes. I'm still a little nervous though because fall is much more competitive than the spring, but we will see. I applied to Venice and Bradenton programs. I also applied to fsw as well.

OMG I am so nervous! I think you will get in. 3.7 is pretty good. 1 more week...?

I am so nervous! I only applied to Venice campus and not both because Bradenton gets packed so full. This is my 3rd time applying with 3.5 gpa

Oh yeah that’s far! I live in 15 min from Venice so I just applied to Venice only. Last year Julie said it was close to 400 applicants

That was right after they took the teas test away though. A lot of people that I talk to dont even know what SCF is so maybe the 400 applicants were people that have been trying to get in but could not because of low teas test scores. I'm hoping this is the case and they dont get as many applicants this semester. When I went to the information session last year. She said that they got a lot of applicants but they did not meet all the requirements to make application to the program. I think a lot of people jump the gun before they are ready and just apply.

I retook my A&P B course and got an A, I also retook another writing B course and got an A as well. Raised me to a 3.5, 3.77 overall. I emailed Julie last semester to see what I had to do because applying twice sucks.. she mentioned the cutoff and advised me to retake my B courses.
You applied last semester with a 3.0?

Definitely study. I didn't give myself enough time to study between classes when I took the TEAS test and got a 68
