sccc 2012 nursing program hopefuls

Hello . I am starting this thread for anyone who has applied for the fall 2012 start suffolkc.c.c. nursing program. I have applied for the Ammerman day program. I was hoping to find some company on my journey to acceptance day(hopefully:)).

HAHA yea still don't want to do it! But i rather be prepared.... I thought I was seeing things and I thought it was my mis calc somewhere but it was just impossible for some answers.... glad I'm not the only one :) Good LUCK! I'm actually doing Dose Calc now....

Do you find the cd helpful? I have been doing just the book. I get up @ 6 every morning before the kids!!!

I don't find it that helpful... It just like a quick review which is not in depth bc it seems like u should know it from the text and then do the tests ... The test can be helpful as any review .... I have a few nurses that are willing to help if I get stuck...

I am not taking the actual class just doing the book on my own. Are u days? when are your clinicals?

Oo ok ... I took the class bc ur gna need it for stony brook cross over anyway. I'm in the day program .... Clinicals on fri

Wow I can't believe only a month away! I'm still trying to get my vaccinations in order. Turns out I need a booster for measles and my dr is having problems getting it. Next is to take the CPR course. I found a place that will do the course on a Saturday for $75. Anybody else still need to take the class?
