SCC, Merced, Delta, and MJC applicants for Fall 2019

Hey y'all! I thought I would start the conversation to see who has applied to Merced and SCC for the Fall 2019 cohort. Soon the Delta and MJC application periods will happen as well....Any idea when we will get notified, and how many people total applied for the two that have already happened?? Hi! I just applied for Merced as well, for me Merced is a 1hr and 20m away, so airs one of the further schools for me but I think I could manage... good luck to everyone! This is my first time applying to them. I also applied to Fresno City and West Hills in Lemoore.

Hi! First time applying to merced.... delta and mjc is next for me. My first choice is mjc. For Merced they gave out a paper saying we will be notified may/June, such a long wait! How many points will u guys have for delta and mjc? Does anyone know if delta still does the 5% lottery?

hey Irene RN did you find out about the human development from modesto equivalency to deltas..can u let me know plz..?

Hi kaur6157! No I'm not sure about human development, I took mine at mjc and now I'm concerned since you mentioned they disqualified you last time! If u dont mind asking how many points did u apply with last year?

I called and asked and they told me that human development is but they told me things last year over the phone that still got me DQd so so much for asking.

Did they DQd for human development? It's the same class I dont see why they wouldn't take it

Did the human dev. Class cover child and adult?? It can't be only child development, it has to be through out the life span is my understanding

Hi Irene I applied with 74 points last year.. but this time I have 81.5 points at delta.. but the problem is human development????

No it was not for human dev. Human Dev from MJC is accepted as long as its the psych human dev, has to cover from birth to death.

Yes that's what I told them, but they say they go by course Id number in the course description and because the course id from both merced and modesto is C-ID 180 so its not equivalent to their HS019..

Did anyone else receive the email to check your status?? I logged on, but the links for the checklist don’t work for me. Anyone else having this issue?
