Scared about test!!

i just started my senior year of nursing school and finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. (well, sorta). i guess i'm writing this because i need some prayers. i have a cancer test coming up next week. i have been studying very hard, and feel comfortable with the material and have done so many practice tests! however, i'm still worried and having nightmares about making a 40 on the test. i have a new instructor this year and i have never taken a test by her, so i'm not sure what to expect. she is supposed to be hard and everyone last year didn't do so well on her first test. i'm trying to not let that influence me and i've been studying for weeks! as we all know we have to make a certain grade on tests in nursing school to "pass" the test, even if a c in the real world is passing, in nursing school it can mean failing. i know i can do it, i made it through one tough year, but i'm just so nervous! if you read this please keep me in your thoughts and prayers! and if you're not religious, light a candle or something. i just hope my nerves don't get the best of me. i'll keep everyone posted on how it goes.

the first test with any new instructor is always nerve racking until it's over. make sure you read the syllabus and objectives she passed out very closely again. also, review the advice and weblinks on this sticky thread:

i have no special advice for you regarding the medical test you are facing. i have had cancer 3 times in my life. the first was in my 4th semester of nursing school and it put a serious dent in the plans i had made to become an or nurse. that was 32 years ago and here i still am! good luck with your test. keep us informed of the outcome.
