After taking jobs just to barely survive with no potential for advancement at 37 I decided I am going to get my RN (then BSN thereafter). I am completely out of the loop as to where to look for scholarships/aid (I fell for some online scams). Should I just go through the school or is there a better way. I am considered low income so I am hoping for some grants and aid but will do loans. If anyone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated. Some schools I am looking into are Fortis, South University (super expensive though) Midlands tech (long waiting list and have heard bad things about the teachers) and USC (the idea of being in a big University college kinda scares me). I have an 8 year old daughter and I am married but like me my husband has been taking jobs just to survive. Any thoughts and ideas greatly appreciated
