Has anyone else on here taken Chemistry or Lifespan Development online through Ivy Tech South Bend? I am just wondering how the lab in Chemistry is done online? I am also curious of what papers, quizzes, etc. are involved in Lifespan Development?
Also, I am taking one online course through the Fort Wayne campus (this is where I have taken all my courses so far) and I was wondering if all my courses will show up in Black Board regardless of which campus I am taking courses on?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm taking Lifespan Development online through Columbus campus. It is fairly difficult. We just had our midterm which was on 10 chapters (proctored). The quizzes are not that bad, as they are open book and untimed. The final will also be another 10 chapters. Hope you are doing well with your class.... I opted to take Advanced Physiology last semester in-class, so I didn't take Chemistry. :)

I just took chem thru SB just finished last week. There were 8 quizzes (one per week). 10 online virtual labs. and one paper to be written. I got an A. This was my 1st time to ever take chemistry. The professor takes your lowest lab & lowest quiz grade and replaces them with your highest lab & quiz score. There is no other work to be turned in. Not that bad at all.

Dear All4Him7
Hello, my name is Taren. I am looking for an online chemistry class that is shorter than the average 16 week semester. What school did you take your chem class from? Do they have general chem online for 8 weeks? I already have an intro chemistry class, but am looking for General. I was just on Ivy Tech community colleges website, but didnt see any 8 week course, maybe that is only for the summer. Thank you!
I took my online this summer thru South Bend. It was 8 weeks chem 101. It was very managable. I'm not sure what they offer in spring & fall.
