I am using it now. Haven't scheduled my NCLEX yet. Just graduated in June. The class behind me in March and May have both used this review. All of the students in the March class passed, and so far, everyone who finished in May that has taken their NCLEX has passed, too. The audio review clips on the CD has good tips and tricks to help you remember ABG's and fluid/electrolytes/cardio meds.

Thank you for your respond, very helpful! I graduated a few years in Puerto Rico, so after going through all the hassle of paperwork, I was able to take the nclex. Because of other personal problems and work I was never able to focus the way that I am now (I failed it twice). I finally feel more confident, and I haven't schedule my test yet. ..I will schedule it today probably for September 20. My plan is to finish the text book within two weeks (I'm on chapter 60) and the next two months just do about a 100 questions a day. .or as much as I can. Thank you again, it makes me feel more confident that other students had such a great outcome using this book.

I would suggest using saunders ALONG with other books/resources. I used only saunders for my first nclex-rn attempt and failed. Keep in mind I barely used the CD, which has a lot of questions. I did however read the yellow book from cover to cover, completed all questions after the chapters and read rationales. My opinion is saunders is a great book for content, however it can be repetitive and the questions are WAY too easy compared to the nclex-rn. I say read over saunders, use the cd that came with it and use another source for questions/strategies that will challenge you more. Right now I am using a few sources like kaplan strategies book and virtual ATI that challenge me to think more than saunders did, and the questions from these two sources seem more nclex style.

Best of Luck. Hopefully third time is a charm.

I used only Saunders and passed my first time June 14, good luck!

Thank you everyone, this really helps!..I tried a kaplan review book on my second attempt and It didn't satisfied me. ...but again I was at a stressful job, that unfortunately took too much of my time. This time I'm giving it my 100%, not worrying about my new job at all. ...I will take a look at the Kaplan questions, and do plenty of questions from both sources.
