Saunders Comprehensive Review NCLEX-RN

Published

We are asked to buy this book for NS (starting 12 month ABSN program in Jan), and the most current edition is the 4th edition 2007.

I can get the 3rd edition 2006 version for less than half...would you do it? Or is this one that I should have the most updated version?

My thinking is that I will be taking the NCLEX in a little over a year and may want the 2008 version to help study for it, but while in school the 2006 would suffice.

Thanks for your help!

I passed nclex-rn on my 1st try last week and Saunders helped me significantly. I cannot stress that enough. If you're on a budget, just buy Suanders. I suggest to anyone who's preparing for the big exam, to focus on the 4000 questions in their cd. Do it 3x or 4x until you've completely mastered it. Then, a month prior to the D-date, do the qbanks in kaplan or ncsbn online. That way, you get to work on your strategy skills.
