Saudi council: nursing techincian vs specialist

I'm an icu-ccu nurse here in saudi arabia. However, my saudi council states that I am classified under nursing technician. In this case, should I worry about future conflicts regarding my papers? I have a friend who's also working as an icu nurse in a different hospital here in saudi but she's under nursing specialist. Any insight?

From what I understood, overseas applicants (to KSA) without prior experience (in KSA) will be classified as Nurse Technician in their license to practice. Regardless of what category you selected in your prometric test (UK equivalent to CBT). After three years of registered practice as Nurse Technician, the applicant can upgrade it to the category Nurse Specialist during their revalidation/license renewal.

Hi @Shazab have a good day, can you please tell me how to update from Nurse Tech. to Nurse Specialist without the need to retake the exam. I am working in a special area here in Saudi also, but my Prometric licensed was under Nurse Tech category. Thank you ?
