G'day
Joe, hope you and your father continue to heal and fair well. I think the quarantine part would bug me to no end. Glad they got your Insta Cart order right.
Stars, sorry to hear about the family drama. Having some mental illness in my own family I can see how hard it is on parents.
Dianah, I always know you enjoy Disney and particular Dapper Day. Hope you have a good time tomorrow and a good day today.
I didn't post yesterday because I was tired and frankly in a bad mood. Work was extremely busy with discharges and admissions. I slept in today and am feeling better.
Nothing much going on. I hope to make it to hot yoga later. The area around my crown is still sore and annoying and I think giving me a headache with I think contributed to my bad mood yesterday.
It is pretty darn warm and partly cloudy/sunny. I slept like a LOG last night and was still tired when I woke up. Had the usual dreams that take place in a combo dormitory/hospital; can't remember much except walking the hallways, talking w/ people and going into and out of rooms.
Hubby seems in better frame of mind. He hasn't heard yet today from dgt. The hospital floor she is on has one phone shared by 22 women, so contacting her isn't always possible since the line is almost always busy.
Yeah, I think that whole family needs to go to family counseling AND personal therapies. Doubt it will happen, though! They seem to just ricochet around within their moods, so much like step-dgt's mother's family did...always changing alliances. Stoopit!
Nothing planned for today. The Braves have a game this evening, so that's all I know we'll be doing. Nannie is mid-way in her day's 'activity' .... her sleep-eat-sleep-eat-sleep routine in the recliner. Hubby is up on the front porch "guarding the neighborhood". He says the 'stitch' in his left side has faded, though he still can't sleep on his left side d/t discomfort from that lung (it's the one that collapsed 2x and still has some fluid in the bottom of it.). He said when he goes to the doctor he's going to "make him take some blood tests to see if he can figure out what's going on." ? Uh-huh.
Hope everyone's week-end is not an Eeek-end. (whatever that might mean!)
I found out what an Eeek-end is.....(Warning: TMI) I was sitting on the porch after an early supper, said, "I need to go to the bathroom", stood up and immediately felt hot liquid running uncontrollably down the back of my legs to my ankles, and up to my waist. I said something a lot worse than 'Eeek!' I took two anti-diarrhea capsules and a long, thorough shower.
Jeepers, no more Eeek-ends for me, PLEASE!

Dianah snow in the mountains and 90 degrees is quite a contrast
Stars it's good that your DH realizes that there are limits to what he can do to help
Started feeling better yesterday, think the fever may be mostly gone now. Work wasn't bad, busy towards the end. Thankfully work hasn't been busy while I've been sick
Slept better last night and feel better this morning, just some congestion and occasional cough. Still going to stay in for 3 more days and make sure the fever stays away. Dad continues to have milder symptoms than me, J remains healthy
Don't really have much planned today as I can't get outside. Svengoolie has Frankennstein Meets the Wolf Man, which I've seen before but I think I'll watch anyway
Going to be in the 80s today
