Tweety it is a good time of year for that

That sounds like a nice time Julie.  I rarely see wild turkeys around here, only happened once that I recall

NJ22 glad you're looking forward to Portland

Stars here's hoping he can get it fixed

Dianah I don't think I've heard of vegetarian chicken

Weird....woke up in the middle of the night, fell back to sleep, dreamed that the doctor was sending me to a specialist for heart failure.  Oddly detailed dream

Work ended on a good note yesterday.  After work had the Good Friday service, thankfully the minister reminded me I was  doing the readings as I had forgotten.  The choir did a good job with our piece

Today going out  birdwatching as usual.   Will try and stop at the bakery before birdwatching, if not I'll stop afterwards for the coffeecakes for Sunday.  Meeting dad for lunch as usual.  Might do a little baking if I have time

No Svengoolie tonight, have the fairly long Saturday Vigil service at church, singing  again at that

Going to be in the upper 40s today

Good Afternoon!

The weather is warm, the clouds are coming in, and we may get some rain...

The ballgame is on today at 4 PM. Last night it didn't start until 9:40PM.  I stayed up through the 5th inning and the score was 2-2, at 11:40 PM. It was one of those s-l-o-w games and I didn't feel like staying up. I haven't checked the score yet, but will find out soon.

Hubby is out on the front porch chatting w/ a neighbor. Nannie is conked out in her recliner. I spent about 30 minutes sitting in the grass, scratching the neighbors bull dog. It's another exciting day!

Hope y'all are enjoying your weekend.

Good evening.

Had a relatively good day with 4 patients most of the day and my orientee with me.  Until it wasn't a good day...patient had chest pain and one fell (it's kind of shady and he's a chronic pain patient and didn't want to go home and conveniently feel and "jacked myself up" and needs IV dilaudid.), and another with BPs in the 200/100 range.  Melodrama Oscar of the Year went to my patient that was a nurse.  OMG did she act so dramatic and her poor husband waited on her hand and foot. Got on my last nerve.  Fun times.

My orientee manipulated herself into getting Easter off saying she wanted to experience working a Monday.  Just so happens to be Easter you switch to work a Monday.  Right.

Oh well, sorry to unload.  The good news is I haven't had insomnia for two days.  One of which was a sleeping pill but still.
