I don't think you can make a decision right now about the job market in three years. I am starting ANP school in January, I haven't done any research on the job market right now because it doesn't apply to my situation. Also - ANP is what I want to do so I am doing it. Before I started nursing school they were saying everyone could get a job, by the time I did pre-reqs, went through the program and took the boards they were saying no one can get a job. Guess what - I got a job within 1 month of getting my license. Especially given the direction that health care is going, it is difficult to predict how things will be in three years. You pays your money and you takes your chances!

Hi. Is saturation of NPs a concern in the future? Im contemplating on taking the np or crna route and one thing I noticed is the huge difference in admission process. Also there is a lot more NP programs and the schooling can be done part time and some are even online for the most part. Some programs even accepts students with minimal or no experience. Im worried how this may affect salary/compensation for NPs in the future.
