Hi everyone ! I made this forum so that applicants for Fall 2017 of Santa Fe's Nursing can compare points and experiences with applying to the program. I've applied for the Fall 17 program and I'm anxious to see if I get a acceptance letter coming up . I've reviewed other forums and students who were accepted had 50 or more points.. my point calculation is not that high so I am little nervous ! Feel free to post .

I have also made a poll . Feel free to vote so we can see who we are applying with.

I had about 46 points and just got accepted into the program. I believe it is ranked further than just overall points. I had a 100 on Kaplan reading, 93 on Kaplan math, 3.7 pre req GPA, 3.2 overall and a previous degree.

Congrats,hun... see you in orientation.

My initials are rr and I got my acceptance letter around noon! The load of documentation is staggering!

congrats, hun

FINALLY, I GOT MY LETTER. !! I'm excited, the due date is so close. I think we should create a private facebook page, where we can all join and help each other out with the process/future things.

I like this idea. I printed off all the attachments (18!) and just now getting a bit familiarity with them. They will not schedule fingerprinting till next week so have to wait on that. I just hate having to do the background stuff all over again but if it is over 6 months, they will not accept it (nuts!) I tried to put in the code they gave us for it but it would not take it so I am thinking it may take a little while to work. But getting help for this together, that would be great.

Lol, I haven't read none of the attachments except for the one with my last name. I will create the page tonight and will post it on here so the ones with facebooks can join. I currently work two jobs, Im quitting one by June 8. All these paperworks, man.

If any of you have a GroupMe account via app or cell number I can create a group chat via the app.

Thank you. Congrats to you as well.

the "I-9 list of acceptable documents" is a blank white page for me.. Did anybody received a good one ?

I advice all of your guys to start on the VHA Mandatory training stuffs and Verified credentials now, It's so loooonnnnggg. I will create the Facebook page tonight, I've been busy working.

You cannot open it normally. I had to open it by saving it and then opening it from my computer. It is a word document. Save it and see if you can download it. If you can't , I can email you it.

I did my VHA stuff already. When I opened it the other day, I saw it was so long and knew it had to be done before orientation so I have been doing it while I was off work. Not too bad but long. I am wondering about the drug test. You are suppose to download some form from the website of the office about a request for testing but I can't find it anywhere, has anyone else. Also, ON the fingerprinting it says we are to bring two more papers with us but I don't know what the are.

Yes I am not sure about the fingerprinting documentation as well. It said 2 documents on the paper, but there was only one in the email. I'm calling on Monday.

Monday is a holiday, you will have to do that on Tuesday. Let us know what you find out. I will be going soon to drop off the papers that are due soon and am going to ask about the drug paper that also wasn't in the attachments. I wish they would have an orientation just for filling out all of this stuff!
