Hi everyone ! I made this forum so that applicants for Fall 2017 of Santa Fe's Nursing can compare points and experiences with applying to the program. I've applied for the Fall 17 program and I'm anxious to see if I get a acceptance letter coming up . I've reviewed other forums and students who were accepted had 50 or more points.. my point calculation is not that high so I am little nervous ! Feel free to post .
I have also made a poll . Feel free to vote so we can see who we are applying with.
I have already started to buy a few things that we will need. A good planner for writing what we will have to do> I have heard it gets really crazy when we start and you need to have a planner. I also found some short sharpies that you can hook to a name tag. I figure that if I don't get in this time, I will apply for next time!
Yeah I'm nervous but I am calm about it . My points were low because they wouldn't take my CNA license without course credits . Knocked me down 10 points, So I will see what happens :/
They wanted a full 165 hours CNA course. Thank God I took mines in 2013. Them 10 points do make a difference. I'm glad you're calm because I can't keep calm here.
I'm so sad that I only discovered this forum today, hopefully THE day. What is everyones points and kaplan scores? I have 51 points with a 100 on the reading and a 96 on the math. I'm really biting my nails here!!! I read an earlier post that the cut-off for last fall was 52, but I had asked Mary what the cut-off was for last fall and she said 51, I hope she understood what term I was asking. Either way, if I make it in, It will be by the skin of my teeth. Fingers crossed... Good luck everyone!!!

Yes, I got full points for both the math and the reading. I had just finished taking stats and algebra so that helped me to remember the math and I studied the pretests for it. I asked the front desk why the numbers were different for the different semesters and they said most everyone wanted the fall and not the spring. I don't know why there is a difference but there is. Every time, the point average will be a bit different. But keep the hope if you are low. My friend just had 48 and she got in on the alternate list. She is in her third semester now.
