My work experience was 1000+ hours as a caregiver for kids with special needs. I made sure that the letter I provided in the application stated that I did on-hands duties, along with the certification I had to get (CPR, First Aid, Seizure Training, Autism Training, Behavioral Training, etc...).

Did you put copies of your certification in your application? I have the same experience but I wasn't sure if they would accept it

No I did not put copies of my certifications, my supervisor just mentioned them in the letter.
And no, my services were onsite at the children’s houses.

I ended up getting a voicemail that I was accepted off the alternate list, I was #10 out of 20 so definitely don't give up if you are an alternate! Seems like they took a lot this semester. Looking forward to starting with everyone who was accepted, does anyone know if there is a facebook page or something yet for everyone to keep in contact once school starts?

Also does anyone who was accepted know the exact schedule of when classes start / any breaks? I can't seem to find exact dates anywhere

Classes start same day as other general classes  which is feb 8 - June 6. As for your nursing classes schedule check the santa ana Spring 2021 schedule, class schedules are listed on the catalog.

If they were all accepted, I applied with 93 points

Did you use the words patients or clients in your letter

I took it with someone else, but they are all good professors there. I wouldn't recommend taking it during the Summer though, it's a tough class that requires a good amount of studying for. My friend took it in the Summer and he said it was like 6 chapters a week, so like 30+ drugs to know a week.

Yes N160

please tell me how I can have the book of this class (hired or buy a used book)

To anyone who got accepted to begin for Spring 2021, not sure if there is a facebook group already started but I decided to make one so we can talk easier / ask questions. My name on facebook is Tori Nahigan, if you want to join shoot me a message on there and I'll go ahead and add you! ?

Hi all,

I got in as well. But I will be giving up my spot because I decided to attend another program. Congratulations to whomever gets it and good luck to us all ❤️

do you know what the cutoff number was for accepted students?

As far as I know, none of the programs were disclosing anyone's particular points. If they were, I am pretty sure you can find the cutoff on their official web page or contact the school directly.
