Ohh okay LBCC is closer to me too. Can you tell me how you were able to get 85 points?

Hopefully we get good news from them! 3.9 gpa. I finished my GE classes, several years of work experience, 85 on the TEAS and I had a couple of the life experiences.

Ohh okay thanks.. I’m lacking in the health care experience and life experience

I received my acceptance letter today as well and will be accepting my position can’t wait to see everyone. Best luck !!

I got my acceptance letter. Applied with 85 points.

This was my fourth time applying. Please don’t give up. Continue applying and taking more classes (pharmacology, critical thinking, statistics etc.) as they all give you more points and a higher chance of getting in. I will be accepting my spot. Thank you Jehovah!!!!!

I believe what helped me bump my points up was my healthcare experience. When I didn’t get in the first time, I took a 3 month CNA course and got my 1000 hours done. That gave me 20 extra points.

I also got the acceptance letter and I think I got 88.5 to 89.5. Hope everybody good luck! I took all the classes listed and CNA certificate which gives 6 points.

I received my acceptance letter today and will be accepting unless I get into saddleback college as well. I applied with 85 points! Best of luck to everyone!

Specializes in Emergency Medicine.

Received my acceptance letter in the mail yesterday, I will be taking the spot if I do not get into Saddleback or Golden West. I applied with 90 points. I have my bachelors, years of work experience, 4.0 science GPA, 90% on the TEAS. My advice to anyone applying is to get into a position where you provide direct patient care! Not only does it give you points, but everyone has told me that it helps in the actual nursing program. Best of luck to everyone!

did you have A and B in the science courses? I got an A in A&P 1 and a B in A&P 2

but I feel for Micro I might end with a C (currently taking). not sure if with the CNA will hours will help to get accepted or retake Micro?

I still haven’t heard anything back! Has anyone else not gotten theirs?
