Santa Ana College ADN Fall 2016

Nursing Students School Programs

Is there no thread for this yet?! :o

I am in the process of completing my application for the SAC ADN program to start in Fall 2016!

Do you guys know what the "safe zone" for the # of points to get accepted is?

If you don't mind, post your points total below so we can get an idea of this pool's stats :)

I'm going to take my application this Friday. I think I'm going to have around 66 points. Last semester I believe I had around 60 and I was on the alternate list (and never got called:sorry:) So here's to hoping for this semester!

How many points did you have?

If I calculated correctly, I will be having 86.5 points. Just from what I've heard, it seems like SAC is hard to get into and most people get on the alternate list... Wonder what their cut-off points for acceptance is.

86.5 is really good. I think you'll get in for sure

I have 73 points and this is my first time applying. I heard that they're changing their program. Has anyone heard of that?

They decided last Friday that they weren't going to implement the changes until spring 2017. So it won't affect anyone applying this time around

Good to know! I still need to take pharm and the nursing concepts classes. Hoping they offer one at least in the summer.

what could be the changes for spring 2017? i plan to apply fall of 2017...

I am be applying for the spring 2017 semester and im scoring around 75 pts. Right now on the aplication. I hope this is enough, I have 4.0 in pre reqs and scored 83% on teas. Do you think this will be enough to get in?

i think anywhere above the 70s is going to be good. Last semester I got on the alternate list with 60 points. But it really depends on who applies each semester.

I applied for fall 2016 as well. My points were in the 70's. Not sure exactly but about 72-74 and i got a 91% on the TEAS.

These last few weeks will be torture.

Good luck to everyone! I hope we all get in!
