Hi everyone,

I know that there are some negative comments about Sanford Brown in St Peters Missouri here, but I am still thinking about it. I would love to hear from anyone who was an LPN in Illinois and went through the LPN to RN program in St Peters and was successful. I have been an LPN for 10 years and I think that this program would be ideal for me. I could work during the day and go to school at night. I was wondering how long you have to have your MO license before you apply for an IL license and if employers commented on where you graduated from? Thanks so much.

Just graduated today. The program has its ups and downs. But it really worked for a working mother of 3 like me. Going on for my BSN there. Will be done with that May 2010.

I just graduated from the RN program and I can't stop my phone from ringing! No problem finding a job. Work in PCU at hospital right up the street and applying for IL license as we speak.

It's nice to see some positive comments about Sanford Brown. I'm considering their BSN program. I'm a mom of 3 little ones, ages 7 months-4 years and can't afford tuition and daycare for a regular day program. I've completed almost all prereqs (general ed) at UMSl incase I want to go back there for my MSN- but i'm pretty positive i'll be satisfied with the BSN. I'd love to see more views on Sanford Brown's BSN program from people that went there.

Is this school in IL? What city is it in?

Sanford Brown has several locations. I know the one in St. Peters, MO has a BSN program now and the cost is actually comparable to UMSL, Maryville and BJCON, if not less than a couple of those (tuition and fees are listed on their website now). I think there's a Sanford Brown in Collinsville, IL. I'm not sure if they're now offering the BSN program or if they have an RN program.

Sanford Brown, if not in BSN mode, is more or less everywhere.

My experience with their "secretarial" graduates has been, ah, poor.
