hey everyone who's applying for delta in september??
6 hours ago, cmerenda said:@BayAreaNursing925 I was able to submit my application with no time to spare. I was also able to check the status up until the application window closed. Now it’s again saying I don’t have an account. Did you run into this too?
Hi cmerenda,
You need to go to your Delta email and then into the confirmation email you received from submitting the application. There you will find the link to go and check your application status.

My first time too. A good number of applicants are the same people in all the surrounding area schools. At least from those that participate in these forums. After completing prerequisites for so long, I don’t care who accepts me at this point, I will make it work lol.

I calculated 85 points for myself, but when I did the application I ended up with 70.5 points. I am thinking I added a class wrong; but what’s done is done. Do you currently attend SJDC?

I feel the same way. I will go anywhere. I am in no position to be picky I just want to be in school and getting it DONE. I'm up in Sacramento planning on commuting if I'm invited. I applied everywhere from Redding to Santa Barbara, with decent stats, and I am still raking in the denials left and right. I have higher than average hopes for SJDC since they at least take partially off of merit and ranking. I applied with enough points to feel really good about it.

I feel you. The nurses I volunteer with always tell me to apply everywhere you can, and you will make it work. I’m sure you will get in somewhere, especially by increasing the number of apps you put in. I have a lot of friends that got accepted out of state very quickly, but I am not ready to do that just yet.

Hi Cmerenda,
I’m glad you were able to get your app in. I haven’t tried checking my app status after the window closed because the “ADN Application” button on the site is now grayed out. How’d you go about checking your status? I’d like to know if this “no account” issue is also present on my end.
