San Joaquin Delta College Fall 2020 ADN

Hi everyone! I am planning to apply to Delta this March and wanted to start this board to connect with other applicants. Good luck!!

I'm pretty sure this app said as an example enter the course "bio 31" I'm not 100% as I have done a few LOL but if it was this one then that is how I entered it as it pertained to my classes with the number only. Because it asks what course it is comparable to I think the number is fine. Also because if needed we are turning in course descriptions so number alone should be fine.

Secondly did you ladies see that they updated the page to say the Fall App is being extended it doesn't give a specific extension date though?

I didn't see anything regarding an extension though. Where did you see it at?

Yes its on the delta ADN webpage not on the actual application. I just saw this morning. it says due to cancellation of TEAS they are giving people extra time but I wonder how ATI is handling that situation?

I saw that!! I put both the number and the name, I really hope I’m not disqualified for that. I called and asked and they said putting both would be fine but it seems like to get completely accurate answers you have to email, not call. I emailed and asked too, but they haven’t gotten back to me yet.

so they are extending the deadline to submit the app. Ati's website says that the individual testing sites will communicate with students regarding reimbursement or rescheduling options. This is all uncharted territory. I was already in shock to learn that my kids will likely be out of school until the Summer based on news report yesterday. We are all getting a lesson in patience and adaptation.

Girl isn't that the truth LOL.. So far everyone is cooperating and not getting antsy about being home all day everyday but I'm sure eventually they will want to venture out to parks and play dates so I keep explaining that we are currently living in a day to day situation to see what is coming up next. Elementary teacher have already sent out daily plans for when Spring break is over for our children and resources that we can also use so it is definitely gonna take some getting used to and patience thats for sure.

How long is extended for? I couldn’t find that out

Hi I spoke with the director of nursing of nursing and she said that as long as we have the course number (Bio 31) it should be fine; however, if we input the course description (Human Anatomy) along with the course number ( Bio 31 Human Anatomy) it will be fine as well. we will not be disqualified. If we input just the course description without course number it might be an issue.

I think that is a little ridiculous considering there are zero written instructions on their website clarifying how to input classes. ARC has a PowerPoint with instructions on how to input everything. That is something they should consider adding to their application instructions.

Hi Everyone,

I hope someone can help me clarify on this, so I have fulfilled all my prerequisites as of Fall 2019. I applied for my degree in January 2020, now we all this Covid-19 and schools being closed, Evaluations at my school, is not able to give me a date as to when I will receive my degree since paperwork will now be delayed. I am applying to Delta but unsure what to input for my Degee status... what do you guys think?

Oooh that is hard cuz the last day to turn in isn’t until April 21st as of now but you don’t want to get disqualified if it won’t be in by then either. I was waiting on my human development course to post the grade as the class just ended on March 13th but she already updated transcripts. IDK I would honestly say don’t put it in if they can’t give you a specific date. It’s not a huge point increase it’s only 2.5 points right? Id say better safe than sorry. After all if anything they have the Spring app cycle in September where you can add it in at that point.
