I don't think there is a thread started yet. Who's applying?

So... maybe this is a nit-picky question, but do you think I'll be disqualified because I abbreviated California State University, Sacramento as "CSU, Sacramento" when inputting my previous colleges? Oops!

@shye i seriously doubt it. that would be kind of rediculous! Good luck to you , btw..do you know how many points you have?-ashley
Eh it depends on how they calculate my science score. (Micro:B, Anatomy at Delta: C, A&PI: A , A&PII:A) it will be either 68, 71, or 74, I think...
What about you, ashley?
I think I have 68. B in micro B in anatomy, A inPhysio=3.35 gpa in sciences, 87.6 on the TEAS, life circumstances=2.5 nut & eng =3.5=8 pts & licensed in healthcare =2 pts I'm very hopeful that I will make the cut!
Is this your first time applying? Those sound like great scores!
yes its my first time applying, i just finished physio in the fall, been waiting for this moment!

Your scores sound great to me! I had 59 last time and was alternate #4. This time I'm going in with 64.5. Last semester that would have been enough. So I'm hoping :)@shye I certainly hope they wouldn't disqualify you for that! I'm sure you ll be ok.Good luck to everyone! Excited to be a nurse :)
@Ashley: are you applying in Sacramento, too? (I noticed the "916") :)
@McCoy: That's a great improvement! How did you improve your score?
@shye, I no longer live in Sac, but yes Im still going to apply, just to see what happens! So does anyone know what documents we will need to submit if we make the first cut? im just wondering if theres anything i should be getting ready for, transripts etc. I already submitted my transcripts to delta for evaluation last year.

I can't speak from experience, but from reading previous Delta boards, I got all my official transcripts ordered (they arrived at my house pretty quickly!) and since I took A&P at Sac City, I also printed out the course descriptions/catalog cover. I made copies of my pay stub and wrote an explanation and I made a copy of my DD-214-Member-4 for veterans credit. The last thing I did, which I don't know if they will accept it, is had the HR dept of the hospital I worked at for 2.5 years verify my employment including a job description... The letter is missing the total number of hours worked, but I did the best I could...
I guess the only thing left is my TEAS transcripts, but those come directly from ATI.
I think Delta gives you a few weeks to get all your documents in order, so you should have plenty of time to order transcripts, etc. :)
I like that the application period is short... Hopefully that equals less waiting time!

I LOVE the idea of being done in 16 months! I hope they offer it. The SCC website says they're accepting applications for "all nursing programs" in Feb. I am hoping this includes the Sutter program :)Aww congratulations on your new baby What were your points from last semester, if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks:)
I never heard back from Sac City and haven't checked the site again. Have you heard anything about the Sutter Extended? I like that I could budget out the gas over the 16 months with the zero tuition versus paying several thousand up front.
I have 83.5 points.
I just submitted my application.
