Does anyone have any information about the ADN application?

you should have an email that comes that says it, but it is July 13!! so you have some time

Hi all

I was just wondering for our id and uniforming fitting tomorrow do we have to be there at 8 am, or 8-10 is just the timing to come between?

Congratulations to all the accepted applicants. I'm applying for the Spring 2012 semester and with the new reduced class size am wondering about the point cut-off to get into the program. Can both applicants and alternates comment on their points. SJ Delta's nursing counselor is out for the summer and the nursing department apparently doesn't have that information (yeah right!). I don't understand why SJ Delta doesn't post statistical pool information on applicants accepted.

Anyhow, I know myself and other Spring 2012 applicants will greatly appreciate the information! I have about 83 points. Will that do it?

I really don't know what my point score was. I know my science GPA was on the lower end bc of a C in physio. I think I got a 86 or something on the TEAS but I got extra points bc I am a paramedic and got points for working on the ambulance and the ER and I wrote an essay about a life circumstance. So those all got me extra points and I was alternate #4 and ended up getting accepted. Hope that helps.

To all those accepted I was thinking it may be fun to make a Facebook group page for us so we can connect before the program and then anyone who knows anyone else in the program (who isn't on this group) can invite them. What do you all think?

@nmont320, Nice to see another ems provider in the program, I'm an EMT in Escalon. I would be real interested in a facebook group, perfect for study groups and getting questions answered right away. Anyone doing the campus tour after orientation?

@jeepguy099 I will be doing the tour for sure! Look me up on facebook my email addy is [email protected] look me up and lets get this fb page going! And that awesome you're in ems! What company?

Has anyone had any luck finding shoes? I have no clue how we are supposed to find all white shoes without accent colors or logos and without being a clog style. Pretty much rules out all nursing style shoes and tennis shoes. Ideas?

I found some shoes under the brand Grasshoppers. They are super comfy and the most decent all white looking shoes I could find. I found mine at Famous Footwear. Heres the link to the shoes I got if you want to order it online. Hope this helps!

Grasshoppers Shoes Official Site - Stretch Plus Smooth Comfortable Walking Sneaker & APMA Approved

I'll be getting myself some croc bistro's, I double checked and they should be fine so long as the rear strap is utilized!

Jeepguy099, the department gave you the okay on those? I thought we couldn't have a clog style? Thanks, nl667 :)

Not the department, but a current student said her clinical mates are wearing them.
