Eva2010 I believe you're right but I think alot of people will drop because alot of people applied at several different places so they prolly will decline their space at sjdc

Eva2010...I'm pretty bummed, I'm an alternate too and my number isn't great. I know someone who is the 70th alternate which seems crazy to me. I was told last time they took the first 12 alternates. So i dunno...the next application period is Aug. Good Luck!

thanks for the responses, I guess now I'll start getting ready for the August app period. I will retake the TEAS, and hope for the best. wow 70th....that seems cruel to me.....anyways congrats to all who are in. Still gotta keep trying tho!! Do you guys know if TEAS version V is still the most current one?

Teas version V is the latest and the one all the schools want. how many schools are you applying to? my suggestion is to cast your net far and wide and you are bound to get in somewhere!!! dont set limits, you can always turn down acceptances. I applied to 20 schools and ive gotten in 4 so far and an alternate at 1, and i still have 10 schools to hear from!!

I am an alternate number 5. When I calculated my points I was at 71 and I felt confidnt that I was getting in with that score. Don't know how they scored me but I'm pretty bummed right now.

I am # 45 alternate! So I am pretty sure that means nothing, as far as getting in goes! So So bummed out !! 45 means that there are 45 other alternates in front right? And does nyone happen to know how many students got accepted ? I mean i highly doubt that 45 people will not want their spot : (

I was told by the ADN dept. that as of now they accepted 40 students. I know how you feel I'm alternate #44. and yes 45 ppl would have to decline for you to get accepted. I was told last semester they took 12 alternates. if they would have accepted the original number of 70 we would have had a better chance. better luck next time.
