Does anyone have any information about the ADN application?

Hi everyone I am new to this site and also applied to SJDC for fall 2012 I got the documentation submittance letter and was so excited but not so much now b/c I don't have a very high score and am wondering if everyone got this email to submit docs?! Is this a good thing? I'm so confused!

everyone who applied was asked to submit documentation this semester. you'll know if you're on the list when everyone else does, but until then it's just a waiting game :/

I try not to think any of it anymore and just wait for the email in April. I don't wanna be disappointed.

if you got a score in the 60's you should be fine. don't sweat it.. it's only about a month until you figure it out. other semesters went down all the way into the 50's.. just keep faith :)

I was told 250 people applied and 200 got to submit docs. I thought it was only like 100 but they changed it. So out of the 200 people about 70 people will get in the program and the others will be on the alternate list. When everyone submits docs they do 10% lotto then put us into ranking of high to low. Good luck everyone!

I feel your pain, everyone! It was torture waiting to find out if you made the cut . I am currently in my second semester at Delta. Sounds like it's a little different than when I applied, but on my email that requested documentation, at the bottom left in small print, was a preliminary ranking #. If it's there, it might give you an indication of where you stand in the numbers.

Good luck to you all, and if you don't get in the first time, there are some things that you can do to increase your application score. For instance, you can study and retake the TEAS- Delta will take the highest of 3 scores. Get EMT or CNA license, volunteering and getting documented hours of patient care, and completing your associates/bachelors degrees.

Also, if you want to save yourself some worrying, start your immunizations now! MMR, TDap, TB test x2, Varicella or positive titre, HepB, and Hep C titre, and a physical. I think that's all, but you'll get a list. Some of these have to be a month apart depending on your last immunizations and whether you have those documents. If not, they need to be redone. They give you some crazy deadline which caused panic in my cohort. In the end, you will have plenty of time and they are not going to drop you if it's not all done with in the week or two time frame they give you. And make sure your CPR is current. Heart Assoc or Red Cross only.

Has anybody received the points status? After we submit documentations, the email said we should expect to get the final ranking by 23rd. I'm soo worried :(

I think it's 04/23

^ thank u. U r right. We have to wait until April...

Waiting is the worst part :(

Has anyone heard anything yet?

Nothing yet... So nervous :/

We're supposed to be notified by 4/23. I guess they're waiting to the very last minute :/
