San Joaquin Delta College ADN Spring 2023

Hi everyone, I'm making this so the people applying to the Spring 2023 San Joaquin Delta program can talk. Does anyone know when the application opens and ends? Also, How many points will you be applying with? I'm attaching the admission points criteria. I'm not sure if this is the latest one that they actually use, does anyone know?

Hey just wanted to let you guys know I asked a total of three times just to triple check but they said they don’t want any course descriptions or transcripts that don’t have to do with your application unless you took a pre-req at another school. I guess that’s one thing they changed from last application period. Did they tell anyone that they did have to? I talked to two different people and they both said no. Just curious because I thought I saw someone here say someone told they had to.

I message the counselor yesterday and she said that we still need transcript from other colleges just not the course descriptions if it’s not included in the application…..I also called the HealthScience staff and she said that we only need course descriptions if we want credit for courses that we took at another college. Otherwise they just need transcript… I’m lost LOL.

I thought we didn’t have to send transcript from other college if it’s not included in the application but some staff are saying we do and some say we don’t. I already send in my documentation ?

@Ramon I just called right now, and you’re right. No transcript or course descriptions needed if it’s not in the application.

I also asked them and they said we DO need to send transcripts from other schools even tho the prerequisites are not taken there, the only thing we don’t send are course descriptions, but it seems like everyone is getting different info so at this point IDK ?

And btw you won’t get disqualified if you did send transcript, they’ll just disregard it.

I sent all my transcripts regardless if part of the prerequisites for Nursing program or not. I am following what the checklist says.

I only did the course description that's on my application. It's better to send it all than getting disqualified.

YES. Two different people when I called told me that if I didn’t use the class on my application and then they want nothing to do with it no transcripts or course descriptions so if anything happens I know who to blame ??‍♂️??‍♂️. Last semester they made me turn both of those things in but like I said this semester they’re doing things a little bit differently.

Also I have a email from the health science app saying the same thing so I’m sure we will all be fine as long as we submit correct information.

Hi everyone,

I submitted my TEAS transcript before I was invited to submit documentation. Will I need to request ATI to send over my TEAS transcript over to delta again?

I submitted mine before  submitting my  application for Nursing to Delta. I think it should not be a problem.  We can only request 1 transcript to send to Delta. Once ATI sent it we can't request it anymore. Hope this help
