San Joaquin Delta College ADN Spring 2023

Hi everyone, I'm making this so the people applying to the Spring 2023 San Joaquin Delta program can talk. Does anyone know when the application opens and ends? Also, How many points will you be applying with? I'm attaching the admission points criteria. I'm not sure if this is the latest one that they actually use, does anyone know?

Yeah this documentation portion is giving me so much anxiety, I’m so scared to get disqualified ?

Jessf there is no need to be anxious. The documentation is you submitting the exact same thing you put down in your application. They just want to confirm it. The only reason why people are disqualified is if they are not able to prove what they put down or if they make a mistake. Good luck.

If I sent my official transcript electronically, would Health Science tell me if they’ve received it if I were to email them? For the copies of identification and social security cards, is just the front okay or do we need to make copies of both sides?

I’m so confused on the transcript and course descriptions. So if you attended other colleges, you have to submit official transcript along with course descriptions even though they are non-requirement / non-Nursing  courses?? I attended other colleges but on my application I put all Delta’s courses requirement. I message the counselor and health science and no reply. Someone advise. Ty

I would email them just to be sure, and copy the front and back of identification cards/SS.

I’m in the same boat. I submitted the transcripts from the other college but I did not submit course descriptions because I completed all pre reqs at delta.

I only copied the front side of my social security card, do you think that'll be okay. I already submit my documents.

This is a great question. So last application period I asked “Hello I took one class at another CC but I didn’t use it on my application. Am I still required to submit the transcript for the class? It’s the only class I took at the school. Thank you.” To which they responded “ Yes you are required to submit the transcript from that school as well as a course description for that class the year it was taken.” Now The class was medical terminology so IDK if it’s because it was technically a class I could have used on the app but I didn’t because I used nutrition which I took at delta, but I’m not sure. If you took drama at other school are they going to ask for course description? I doubt but I would try and MAKE SURE. For those who didn’t submit their documentation packet yet be PATIENT. We have about two weeks and you don’t want to rush and submit it while making a mistake they are very strict about small things! If you are submitting it electronically do you wanna give yourself a due date for it to make it to the school on time which shouldn’t be too long but still everyone be patient I’m going to the campus tomorrow or Monday. I’m going to make a post on here asking people what questions they want me to ask when I go in person so be ready for that.

I also want to add this documentation checklist is different from last app period so I as well will double check before answering your questions. But most of them I’m sure of.

Hello everyone,

Quick question. When providing copies of ID and Social Security, is it okay if I just take pictures and upload them into a Google doc and print it out with colored ink? How are you guys doing it?
