San Joaquin Delta College ADN Spring 2021

#Spring2021 Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello everybody I just thought I make a forum for those who are applying Spring 2021. Had a question on how we send our transcripts if we did all our pre-req's elsewhere

How about the NSO insurance section? Anyone else a CNA too?

I am! I called to purchase the insurance and they had me do it online. Once I purchased it for my CNA she had me call back to add ADN student onto my plan. It was $25 total for both CNA and student. Was super easy and I received my form via email within about 5 minutes!

I'm not but I just signed up and they gave the certificate I think the same day or the day after and that's what I uploaded on castlebranch

Anyone been able to register for classes yet? Whether you're in regular or fast track?

There is an issue with the system. They are trying to fix it.

So I am curious how they are handling students with covid? I wonder if they are like understanding and make exceptions during the semester.

I'm like paranoid right now about covid. I just want to make it to the 18th. That way can finish my vaccines, CPR class, and orientation. Anyone else working in the medical field stressed over covid? I mean even jobs that work with the public in general. I just hope for the best for all of us.

Are you planning on working during nursing school? Yea and me too. I don't have work but my mom works as a CNA too.

I was planning to work during the weekends. Now I am on the fence about working because covid is spreading like wild fire right now.

Anyone hear anything about new codes yet?

So, I just ordered the textbooks from the Lippincott site, Delta bookstore, and one from Amazon. They were over $1000 and that doesn’t include  the Kaplan NCLEX prep. ?

No, the codes aren’t working. I am waiting for confirmation that they fixed the issues.

Haha yeah. Students from other cohort are saying first semester are the most expensive. I think one said it'll be around $1500.
