San Joaquin Delta College ADN Spring 2021

#Spring2021

Published

Hello everybody I just thought I make a forum for those who are applying Spring 2021. Had a question on how we send our transcripts if we did all our pre-req's elsewhere

I wonder where do we need to use math class now? It's nowhere on ADN checklist documentations

Just if you did any of the required classes outside of Delta, otherwise they already have your transcripts.

If I took a couple classes a long time ago at delta but none of them are my nursing pre reqs..... do I still need an official transcript from delta?

Hi! Not sure why nobody has responded to this yet but the answer is no. The documentation checklist and other sources say that no official transcripts from Delta are needed. It’s probably because they already have our records on hand. I also took a couple classes at delta a while back, and one of them is a nursing pre req but I’m only submitting my transcript from the other JC I’ve been attending more recently which is Las Positas.

Did u guys use Usps or ups to send the docs ?

Did you get invited

Oops it would have helped if I put that in there, YES!

Sorry if this is a weird question but does everybody except Delta....have to submit course description?

Okay I found out if I didn’t do my pre reqs at delta everyone needs a course description.... do you guys know if we can highlight the course description

Hi. Does anybody know if they are strict on the supporting documents for language proficiency? Like can we just have anyone fill up the foreign language certification so long as they know that we know that certain language and they are not close family members or friend?

I printed out the course catalog page and highlighted the course from that page. Make sure you have the correct catalog term and year. I read that this was a common mistake that disqualifies people!

Anyone take classes at DVC or LMC? I printed the course schedule from LMC because it has the term and description. DVC does not have the description for their class schedule. I had to refer to the catalog however, the catalog is per year. For example 2020-2021. Anyone else have this issue?

You just have to make sure it is the correct catalog year.  They run Summer through Spring. So, for example if you took anatomy in fall 2019, this would be the 2019-2020 catalog.  If you took anatomy in Spring of 2019, it would be the 2018-2019 catalog. They will compare your transcript to the catalog you provided.

Hi,

I also have a question related to this. If I take Anatomy in Fall 2018, I need to print out this page as a course catalog right? Also, I have to do all of the courses in the prerequisites, but not all of the GE?

Thank you so much!

Oh OK.. I thought I read somewhere that it had to say the term on the bottom of the page. (Fall 2019) If it doesn’t, print the cover
