San Jacinto LVN to RN 2021

I noticed no one has created a thread for the LVN/Paramedic to RN for Spring 2021. The anxiety is killing me. I took the survey on Tuesday about everything being online for the Spring semester but I haven’t herd anything else. How’s everyone doing during the wait? Has anyone herd back yet?

Yeah I’m hoping they let us know something by next week since that’s when the lady who sends the emails out will be back in office. My score was 996.

@ Ariana. Which study guide or textbook did you study? I was told by the nursing department to use study guide for LVN licensure exam.

Hi guys congrats on making it into the program and good luck. I have a few questions. How was y'alls schedule like for the first semester? How many days a week did y'all met through zoom? How doable is working full time and doing the transition program at the same time? Thank you in advance for your responses.

Thank you. Thankfully our schedules look a whole lot different than the previous years. They changed it up due to COVID and seeing people fail (because everything is online). So we are taking 3 classes first semester, 2 the next, 4 the third semester and 5 on the 5th semester. So the world load right now is very nice. We go to class 2 days out the week through zoom & not too much busy side work is given. I would say about half of the class works and the others don’t. I personally don’t. But it’s possible to work at least for this first semester. If you’re on your stuff and prioritize super good I think you can work part time. I’m not too sure about full time, it’s possible I would say but allot harder forsure. if you’re considering it.... just go for it. The year will come and go so quick... you’ll be done.

I didn’t get in so I can’t answer your questions. I had gotten 996 on the mobility test but I believe they said that if you had gone to San Jac for the LVN program they chose you first.
