Micro: in progress

gpa: 3.24

hesi: 90.4%

No, I only applied to the north campus; central is even more further from me. I was put on the alternate list as well for the north campus. I was number 18 and got accepted into the program.

More strict as in the grades? Its the same curriculum from what I've heard.

The curriculum is the same; however I’ve the central campus is very strict when it comes to clinicals. If you have a hair out of place, if you’re not in proper uniform, or late, you’ll be sent home. The north campus provides lots of resources the first semester to help the students transition into taking nursing school exams; whereas the central campus does not give many resources (i.e. reviews, videos, the area of the chapter to focus on specifically).

oh wow, good to know. It would be a 30 minute drive for me but seems like I would get more hands on training and resources if needed at North. Thanks for the info! ?

No problem; I wish you the best with wherever you decide to attend! Just keep in mind that all nursing programs have their issues; they're not perfect. I’m sure both campuses have things you’re going to love and things you’re going to hate about the program.

I got accepted from both campuses. I think I will go to Central.
