[color=#008000]hello guys... i'm creating this post to keep track of acceptance into the adn program at san jacinto college.

It should also show a yes or no on the left side. That is there to show you what you completed and need to complete to work toward that degree. That help?

Hello ladies: I thought that we were possibly getting our email response July the 5th or the 6 by the latest? I'm anxious to know if I got accepted. Did anyone else apply elsewhere? Does anyone know of the 'standard' schedule for a nursing student at san jac? I applied for the daytime program...

morning, all!

slight hiccup. 99.5% certain emails won't be sent out tomorrow.

i'm 77% certain it'll happen tuesday.

soooooo...i have to "officially" announce they'll be sent out no later than july 13th (we always use fridays as cut off dates).

if it makes anyone feel any better, the acceptance/denial letters are written. stiff competition in selecting final approved candidates. we had just under 300 applicants. the admissions committee pours over transcripts to ensure accuracy. so, it is essential that all are on one accord before acceptance/denial emails are sent.

regarding sos and degree evaluations:

the adn department has nothing to do with your transcripts being evaluated. that's enrollment services evaluating your transcripts. sos offers nothing, as far as insight, into the adn admissions process.

just wanted to keep everyone updated. i know, i know. waiting sucks. i'm having to wait, too. patience is no friend of mine! :uhoh3:

thanks for keep us updated::)looks like i'll be finding out right before my birthday which is july 14..getting accepted would be the best present!do you know how many students will be accepted this semester?

Accepted Students: A rough approximation would be 80 daytime students, 20 evening students.

Yes. This weekend will be extremely long and painful! I don't wanna get cheesy but I really WANT this. And I know many others to too. I genuinely want this. I want to be taught and I want to learn and I want to make people feel better! I always helped at nursing homes and I LOVED it. Even when they got cranky! Flew right over me. Knew they were just feeling sick and that a that mattered was their comfort. I am truly in it with my heart. I just hope I get in. Getting in... It's only the start of this very very long and exciting yet stressful journey. Sorry guys... I just had to vent! All this bottled up inside xD.
