San Jacinto College ADN FALL 2010

I have applied to San Jacinto College ADN Fall Program via Option B w/3.7 Comp. GPA. I checked my SOS account and the nursing program has already requested my transcript. I'm getting a little excited that I know my application is currently being processed since the deadline is not until June 1st! This waiting period is difficult; however, I'm taking 3 classes right now so I don't have too much time to think about it. Has anyone else applied?

I'm going to apply on monday. I just finished my sciences courses. I'm so nervous about all this process because i don't want to be rejected.

I am applying early next week when grades at San Jac are posted. I think I am applying with Option A and Option B. There are only 100 slots available so i am retaking the ACT to see how well I do. Good luck everyone!! :)

When are grades posted...Monday the 17th?

All the teachers at San Jac need to report their grades by the 17th (their deadline) and the grades will be ready for us to see on sos on 18 or 19th at the latest.

When you say "nursing program has already requested my transcripts" ..do you mean that the board of nursing has asked for it??

Let me know please. I also applied on the 17th for the fall 2010 program under option-B. Iam done with my pre-reqs, except my ACT so I had to opt for option-B as it will give me a 4.0 GPA.

Yes, if you go to your SOS account and go under "My Student Records" then click on "Unofficial Transcripts" look on the bottom of the page & click on the "View Status of Transcript Requests". You will then see "order Date" click on the little arrow if you see a date then click on it and click submit. You will then see if the Nursing Dept has requested your transcript!!! Let me know if you have any problems getting there.

I applied April 7th & they requested my transcript on the 15th; however, I completed 3 classes since then so I'm pretty sure they will request an updated transcript probably after the deadline (June 1st). By reading previous posting on this website, we should all be getting a standard email by the nursing dept. on the June 1st confirming that we have applied....so, come on June 1st!!!! :)

Thats exactly what I have been doing for a while and I did try that again yesterday also..but all I see is a date that either shows May 15, 2008 or none. When I click on May 15,2008, all it shows is "your order is still in processing,please check again another time." And I have been seeing this way before I applied. I have to talk to the enrollment or counsellor and see whats going on with that. Until then I wont figure out. I know I have all my Spantran evaluated transcripts and other stuff with the school. I have my previous bachelors degree courses even in my unofficial transcript.

So, Iam not exactly sure..who is ordering what!
