So I'm creating this post for all applicant to the San Jacinto nursing program for fall of 2014! I'm so excited to begin this journey after a lot of thought of whether i should do LVN or ADN and i have finally made my mind up. Good luck to you all! Do you mind sharing where you are in the process. Only been back in Houston for 2 months and have made my check list of what i need to complete before 05/01/14.:)
Iam really worried too ... I have to go for the lvn orientation and I have to pay 400$ almost fr all the materials but if I get accepted to rn after the orientation I cant even get a refund most probably
The orientation might be june or July we haven't got the date yet .. iam hoping adn dept well let us know sooner though so I don't have to loose tgt much money
I hate the wait and getting more angrier and tensed almost 2 months we been waiting ... I mean if the due date was later on in may then ok july would b a right time to say but march 17 due date and july to know result is too much
Ok yall I went up to the school and talked to them and basically all they did was come up with a bunch of excuses as to why they haven't told us. And I told them about the lvn program thing and I was basically told to waste my getting in to the lvn program to wait for the RN program!! I told her no cause then what am I to do if I don't get in to the RN program them I'm screwed. So no!!! So all I can say is jessiemilton is do your stuff for the lvn program and forget the RN program cause after what was said to me and how they can't get it together I don't think I want to be around those people who are so. @. Backwards

Hi i applied for the transition program and it doesn't surprise me that they are so behind in sending out letters. I had a friend that just graduated practically beg me not to apply to this program. Did anyone else apply to the transition program? They were just now able to place me into health assessment this morning. I had been trying to get registered for this course for a year now and every semester they came up with an excuse as to why I was forgotten about. Not sure if y'all know, but I think both those ladies are new which is probably why they know nothing about everything.
Thia sucks ... so.many kids hav been calling and still they cant hurry up!!! ... Iam doing my lvn application just gonn wait till the orientation date fr my physicals and background check so just incase I get the rn result I wont have wasted my money ..... hate this right now !!
Who did you get the email from ******? You got the email because I said to her that they need to email students to tell them what is going on!!! I said that to her today when I went up to the school!! She said that they were stuck because they were waiting for the board of nursing to get back to them for the FBI background checks.
