Hello, just wanted to start a new topic for those applying to SFSU's Spring 2025 Accelerated BSN program! I know it's a bit late in the application process to start it now but decided it was finally time for me to stop lurking and waiting haha

HUGE congrats to everyone who got in!! Would you guys mind sharing your stats? I got the rejection letter and would love to better prepare for the next cycle.

I got 4.0 GPA. A total of 4 letter with 2 from 2 RNs (former SFSU ABSN), 1 Kaiser NP, 1 from my school counselor. I went in with all I got as this is my top choice.

I wanna add a thing about self upload LOR. You could submit it of course since they are just a pdf file. But no school consider that as the real thing. And this program doesn't require LOR for a reason. Many applicants with real disadvantaged backgrounds don't have LOR or anyone supports them.

You could submit whatever you want to. But self report LORs to a program clearly not asking for it could be a different story. It's better to just follow the instructions.

My stats:

4.0 GPA prerequisites 

foreign languages 

certificates and experiences in healthcare

It will move quickly since many other similar programs already posted their decisions. Many applicants applied multiple programs and priorities the one close by home, so they will drop it soon.

Awesome! I had to reread the email a couple times to process the decision. Do you know when the program starts? Spring 2025 is a bit vague.
