Hi everyone! Wanted to start a thread for the Spring 2024 applicants for SFSU's Accelerated BSN Program ? Would love to connect with other students who are also planning on applying starting August 1st!

Hi!

Only thread I found so far on 2024, I was hoping to apply but I think I am a bit confused. Does Sf state have both a Spring 2024 and Summer 2024 ABSN program? Spring application period (Aug 1-31), Fall(Dec 15-Jan 15)?

Can you be accepted with having one prerequisite in progress this Fall for SFSU's ABSN program?

Hi! I called their office last month and asked about this also. I think they barely updated the website. They said SFSU is no longer doing the Summer applications for Accelerated BSN. Only Spring.

I have no idea about this. Hopefully someone else can answer. But I definitely recommend calling the nursing office to ask. You can email them also! They've been pretty responsive.

Does anyone who applied and got accepted last year have any recommendations on how to answer the Personal Statement questions? I'm having a hard time keeping my responses under the  200 words limit.

Did your SFSU admission status change? Mine still says "You do not have a current active application for admissions at this time.”
