San Francisco State University (SFSU) BSN - Spring 2024

Hey everyone! I wanted to start the thread for the Spring 2024 applicants for SFSU's BSN. It's pretty early but it might be helpful to be able to talk to each other during the application process.

Mine also got updated to my secondary major

hmm mine didn't change but I was reading on a previous term and somebody said that it's normal for it to change to the alternate degree and that the major will change to nursing if you're accepted and that your still in the game for nursing until they say otherwise

Morning, mine got switched as well and I called SFSU and they said they have not heard back from the nursing department yet on their final decisions and that it is possible placeholder for the time being until final decisions have been made.

Does anyone know if we're likely to hear back from the program regarding decisions in early or late November?

Yes, I got this email as well, and so did another person. They told me that they contacted the nursing office and they didn't even finish reviewing all the applications yet. Disregard that email, it's a total lie. You still have a chance to get into the BSN program.

yeah ofc! the way they worded that email was so stupid LOL
