i am a critical care nurse and i am thinking of moving to san diego can anyone recommend the best places to work in san diego.

Both Scripps Mercy Hospital and University of San Diego Medical Center downtown are level one trauma centers; they both have large critical care services. Not too familiar with any of the other local hospitals.

scripps la jolla, scripps green, sharp memorial... la jolla and memorial are also level I trauma centers... a little further is palomar pomerado hospital (PPH).. which is also a level I.. but its in north county SD.

I just have to say San Diego is insanely hard to get a job here our unemployment is up to 10% almost to 11% .So please get either a job before you make a serious move and or rethink the move altogether .
