Hello, So I have been an LVN for about 4 years now and really want to get my RN, but I am having trouble finding an RN program that the wait list isn't 2-3 years! Anyone know of any LVN-RN 30 unit-options??? or any schools the know of that is ready to accept new students???
Thanks! nurseheather83

Hello,
I saw your post and thought you would be interested...I am currently a LVN student at Maric college .. I met with the program senior advisor for College network and you can actually get a BSN through this online. I just met with the advisor. He can explain in person how this works.. I took my friend who is an LVN and signed up.. because he works with a family.. he can fit this into his schedule.. you become a student at INdiana state university.. but do not actually have be there in person.. do course work online.. but clinical are done locally with a preceptor RN BSN.. I know when I start working as an LVN I won't have time to go to school at the same time... I copied some information from the website for you to read..
- NLNAC Accredited & Regionally Accredited, the highest form of accreditation
- Rated by Princeton Review as one of the best colleges
- Rated by US News and World Report as one of the top schools
- Non-profit school, in other words, it is a public university, unlike for profit schools like U of Phoenix
- No Classrooms
- Local Clinicals
- No Clinical Testing
- Start Anytime
- No Wait List
- Financial Aid Guaranteed
- Complete your BSN degree in 40 credit hours
- Unique opportunity to test out of your undergrad courses which makes school a lot less expensive
I hope this helps!! Take care.. feel free to contact me if you have any questions.. I am going throught the process right now..
NO WAIT LISTS!!!

i would say try checking out private schools. i'm pretty certain that the only pre-req is your lvn license. as i'm sure you know, the cost of tuition is rather high, but at least you will be able to bypass taking all those units at the college. i'm still going through the lpn program, but i do plan on going straight into the rn through a trade school. i'm from orange county and i've been looking at colleges to bridge into. good luck!
