San Bernardino Valley College (SBVC) ADN - Fall 2024

Published

Hi,

Just checking to see if anyone here has been invited to take the TEAS at San Bernardino Valley College for the Fall 2024 ADN program. I know it said we would know by 4/15. Just anxiously waiting to see if anyone heard from the school yet

Hey I'm currently on my second semester I really like it aside from a few hiccups that have been worked out so far I like it. Professor Sepúlveda can be slightly intimidating but once you get to know her she's really great I really liked her. (First semester) professor Arnold is amazing she's so helpful and very understanding she's a little goofy sometimes but so far everyone in my class has loved her. Dr K is a hit and miss depending on the semester 🙈 as far as the material goes it can be a lot especially first semester they cram so much in to such a short amount of time but 2nd semester I felt was definitely a lot easier and not as jam packed with material. Clinicals at least for me have been really good but I think that also depends on a semester bases as well as your instructor. And for BSN I didn't do it but I know a few people that did and it seems like it's pretty heavy loaded so I'm glad I didn't do it

Ty for your reply! For BSN, are you talking about the BSN program alone or the concurrent program?

Also, in your opinion for someone who already has a bachelors degree, do you think an entry MSN program at a top school in the country would be worth it if my end goal would be to teach? The main thing stopping me is the loans 😭 it would be over 100k vs an ADN

I believe it takes 6-8 weeks after the application closed.... Which puts us only at 4 weeks right now.

True, thank you 😊. The counselor said that sometimes they send TEAS invites as soon as 2 weeks. Good luck to you both.

If you received an email when you applied there should have been a date letting you know when you would hear back by they typically stick to that date.  Also they don't normally wait the 6-8 weeks. My first time applying I heard back 3 weeks later the 2nd time I applied it was 2 weeks later so I wouldn't be surprised if y'all start hearing back sometime this week. Also from my experience anyone who applied with 47 pts usually got an invite to take the TEAS.

Thanks for sharing that info. Hopefully, we'll know this week.

Y'all check your e-mails. The invites have been sent.
